Fasting Regiment

Prayer and Fasting Schedule for the Month of 
November

I believe the Lord is leading Rivers Of Life Christian Center and our friends to pray and fast. If you would like to join us during this time of praying and fasting here are the instructions:

No Processed Sugars Fast
Five Days of Prayer and Fasting
November 10th - 14th, 2025
Including November 14th
Instructions:
Set aside a time for prayer each day Eat no processed sugars Eat no pies, cakes, or candies that contain processed sugar, sodas, sweet teas, cereal with processed sugar, coffee or creamers with processed sugar. Drink plenty of fluids of your choice without processed sugars Read the Bible each day
Prayer Instructions:
Please include the following when praying Obedience to the Word of God Wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and revelation No deceit from our mouth
Matthew 6:16-17 NASB-1995

  • Have an unwavering prayer life

  • Have a fasting regiment

  • Read your Bible

  • Obey the Word

  • Live a consecrated life

  • Refrain from willful sin


Practice these things and you will never stumble

16 “Whenever you fast, do not put on a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they neglect their appearance so that they will be noticed by men when they are fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face

Pray Without Ceasing

Matthew 18:19-20 NASB-1995

19 "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. 20 For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst." 

 Pray at a Minimum of

One Hour Per Day

Matthew 26:40-41 NASB-1995

40 And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter. "So, you men could not keep watch with Me for one hour? 41 Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
